You can’t wait to begin your lives together as Mr & Mrs, and you are rushing to plan the perfect wedding with just a few days (or even a few hours) to spare. Last minute weddings are extremely romantic and they do have the knack of driving you crazy while you plan. Here are some amazing tips to help you breeze through as you take the leap into being Just Married!
Budget
is Primary
As always, when you plan something it is
important to fix your budget so you do not overspend. Last minute weddings are
on a short timescale and sometimes short budget, so it is wise to hire a
wedding planner to help you with the event. Negotiate fees and state your
entire budget so your WP can work within it.
Where
to do it?
When you are so passionate about getting
married, the most personal spaces are the best places to be wed. If your own
property has enough space to accommodate the guests for the ceremony, then look
no further. If there’s a spot that meant a lot to you two lovebirds like the
beach, a cabin, the lake or anywhere, check if you can host the ceremony there.
You could also request the pastor at the local church to accommodate you on the
date for a good traditional church wedding.
Keep
It Simple!
Less is
more. The less you do, the less there is to go wrong. Sprinkle glitter and
white blossoms over the tables to jazz up the place. Place some tea lights all
over the area, and hang up snowflake lanterns to add that wow factor. Use
seasonal décor like Christmas ornaments, berries, pine cones and foliage to
bring it all together. If you have a friend or acquaintance who loves to cook
and bake, trust them with the catering element for the ceremony.
Forget
the Invites
Let’s go with a go-green policy when it’s
white outside. Email an invite to your guests with a short videos to add a
personal touch. You could also create Facebook events and have them RSVP on it.
This is a great way of letting everyone know about the wedding in short notice.
Dresses
for you and them
Your dress takes prime importance, and
takes time for fitting. Choose your dream dress as soon as you set the date and
send it along for fitting. As for your bridesmaids, ditch the matching dress
tradition and give them the choice to select any style. This avoid delay in
finding a dress that everyone likes and fitting each one according to their
size. Remember that it is cold outside and choose accordingly.
Good luck with the wedding, and have a
great life!
